Farm to Table

We’re bringing the spirit of Whidbey Island right to our classroom table. Through hands-on cooking, baking, and local farm experiences, children explore where food comes from, how it grows, and how we can prepare and share it together.

Our Farm to Table Learning program connects children with real food and real community. Each week, they enjoy seasonal tastings from local South Whidbey farms, simple baking and cooking projects made together with love, and small growing moments that inspire care for our world.

At Happy Day, we’re not like other programs — we are uniquely our own. In our small, family-style setting, children experience a nature-inspired, play-based approach that nurtures independence, respect, empathy, creativity, and connection.

This addition to our program is about slowing down, being present, and celebrating the beauty of childhood — one meal, one moment, and one happy day at a time.
